Binary Fable is an award-winning young studio founded by animators Helen Jackson and Adam Brewster in late 2007. Our mission is to enjoy making animation we enjoy watching. We specialise in 3D CGI animation and focus on collaborative, cross-disciplinary projects.

In summer 2008, Binary Fable completed two short films with the support of Scottish Screen, NESTA and Scottish Enterprise through the Pocket Shorts Scotland scheme. Both films were selected as finalists for the Mobifest Toronto 2008 film festival, and we won "Best Animation" at the festival for one of them, About Here: Culross Abbey.

In 2008/09 we created The Lost Book - an interactive web series that was a collaborative adventure in storytelling. We worked in partnership with the Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. The Lost Book was nominated for a 2009 BAFTA Scotland Award and a 2010 BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award.
